Scope and applicability
This Privacy Policy explains how ISUZUCN collects and uses personal information when you use this website (isuzucn.co) in any language version, submit an inquiry, or otherwise contact us.
This website is intended for business customers enquiring about the export of ISUZU commercial vehicles, chassis, special-purpose vehicles and spare parts. If you are located in a jurisdiction that applies stricter rules to business data, we apply the practices below to the extent required.
The English version of this policy is the governing text; other language versions are provided for convenience.
Information we collect
Contact details you provide, such as your name, company, position, email address, telephone/WhatsApp number, country and preferred communication channel.
Commercial inquiry details, such as vehicle model, quantity, configuration, destination port, Incoterms, target purchase schedule and other details you include in an inquiry.
Technical information collected automatically, such as browser type and settings, device information, approximate location, pages visited, referral source and usage statistics. Where applicable law requires consent, we only collect analytics cookies after you accept them through our consent banner (see "Cookies and analytics").
Security-related data processed by our bot-protection provider (Cloudflare Turnstile) to verify that submissions are made by humans.
If you use the news/photo materials functionality or are featured in our export news, images and descriptive details you or your company authorise us to publish.
How we use information
To respond to export inquiries for vehicles, chassis, spare parts and CKD/SKD assembly projects.
To prepare specifications, quotations, production schedules, shipping estimates and export documentation.
To verify business requirements, coordinate with our factory, authorised suppliers, freight forwarders, inspection agencies and after-sales partners.
To maintain website security, prevent fraud and abuse, improve our products and services, and comply with applicable laws, customs, export-control and trade requirements.
To publish export news only where the featured persons/companies have authorised the use of their images and details.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website and to improve it. These services place cookies and similar identifiers.
Where applicable law (for example the EU ePrivacy Directive/GDPR, the UK, Turkey, Russia or Brazil) requires consent, analytics cookies are loaded only after you give consent through our consent banner. You can withdraw or change consent at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site or contacting us.
Our consent preference is stored locally on your device (key "isuzucn-consent"). Rejecting analytics does not affect the core functions of the website.
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies on this website at the time of writing.
Sharing information
We share relevant information only with parties needed to handle your inquiry or order: the ISUZUCN factory and group entities, authorised vehicle/parts suppliers, inspection providers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, insurers, payment service providers, translation and professional advisers.
Third-party services that may process data on our behalf include: Google LLC (Analytics/Tag Manager), Cloudflare Inc. (Turnstile security), our email/communication service providers, and messaging tools such as WhatsApp where you contact us through them.
We do not sell personal information. We disclose personal information to public authorities only when required by law or to protect our legal rights and business operations.
International transfers, security and retention
Commercial vehicle exports may require information to be processed in China and in the destination or transit countries involved in an order. Where personal information is transferred out of China, we rely on lawful bases and appropriate safeguards required by the PRC Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) and other applicable law (for example standard contractual terms), and we inform data subjects as required.
We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards (access controls, encryption in transit, secure storage and retention limits). No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We retain information only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, our legal obligations, dispute resolution and business records. As a general guide: inquiry records and related correspondence are kept for up to 3 years after the last contact; records of concluded transactions are kept for the periods required by accounting and tax law; news/photo content is retained while published and deleted within a reasonable period after removal is requested.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of or a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to processing for direct marketing.
To exercise any right, email [email protected] with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We respond to verifiable requests within 30 days and may verify your identity before acting.
You may ask us to remove your image or details from our published export news at any time; we will act on such requests promptly after verification.
If you are in the EEA/UK you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. This does not affect your rights under applicable law.
