Delivery Policy
Last updated: September 4, 2026
Delivery modes: CBU, SKD and CKD
ISUZUCN exports Qingling ISUZU commercial vehicles in three delivery modes depending on the agreed contract: CBU (complete built units, ready to drive off the carrier), SKD (semi-knocked-down kits for local assembly) and CKD (completely knocked-down kits for in-market assembly).
The delivery mode, packing method and technical documentation are specified in the signed contract or pro forma invoice for each order.
Incoterms and transfer of risk
Delivery and risk transfer are governed by the Incoterms agreed in the signed commercial documents (for example EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF, DAP or DDP). The chosen Incoterm determines the point at which cost and risk pass from seller to buyer and which party arranges and pays for carriage and insurance.
Any delivery information on this website is indicative and does not override the signed contract.
Lead time and dispatch estimates
For stock vehicles, units may be ready for loading immediately, with typical container or RoRo dispatch in 15–25 days after confirmation of the order and payment conditions.
For configured, special-purpose or CKD/SKD orders, the production and dispatch schedule is stated in the order confirmation. Customised production may require additional time for body building, certification or market-specific preparation.
All schedules are estimates. Vessel schedules, port congestion, customs procedures, weather and carrier changes may affect actual timing.
Shipping methods and documentation
Export shipments are arranged by container (FCL) or RoRo/breakbulk depending on volume, vehicle type and destination. ISUZUCN or its freight forwarder provides the export documentation required for the agreed Incoterm, typically including the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and any required certificates of origin or inspection.
Buyers receive copies of the relevant documents at the milestones agreed in the contract and are responsible for arranging any destination-country documents not included in the agreed Incoterm.
Inspection and acceptance
Pre-shipment inspection by the buyer or a third-party inspection agency may be arranged when agreed in writing. Factory photos or video inspection can also be arranged.
Unless otherwise agreed, the buyer is deemed to have accepted the vehicles upon loading in accordance with the signed specification; any claim relating to quantity or apparent condition should be raised in accordance with the signed contract and applicable shipping rules.
Delays and force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of government, war, sanctions, embargoes, epidemics, natural disasters, port congestion, strikes, carrier failures or raw-material shortages.
If such an event materially affects delivery, we will notify the buyer promptly and, where possible, agree a revised schedule or alternative shipping arrangement.
Import duties and destination compliance
Unless DDP is expressly agreed, the buyer is responsible for import customs clearance, import duties, VAT/taxes and any local registration, homologation or certification requirements in the destination country.
Buyers are encouraged to verify local import rules before ordering so that the vehicle configuration, documents and emissions version match destination requirements.
